Gee

A veteran cable man spent twenty years building the broadcast system, then climbed inside it to transmit. He can see behind the wire and through the wire. CABLE-TV is a read on the culture from the guy who built the wire it runs on. Society and culture — the wire is the lens, not the subject.

For over two decades, Gee ran cable and fiber-optic lines into people's homes. CABLE-TV explores society, media, and internet culture from that vantage point: cable never died, it became social media, and we climbed inside it. Each episode is a direct transmission, made to ride along with your day, not talk-show banter.
